What I wanted was just the web ui to work - don't need the streaming, I've got an sb3 for that. Essentially, I thought it might be nice to have on during a party, etc. to display the album that is playing. Also useful to not have to get to a computer if I want to use the full UI instead of the c

there is a bug request in to have SC support DLNA. if it did, the ps3 would easily work with SC as a streaming device. you can vote for the bug: http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=5091 -- MrSinatra www.LION-Radio.org Using: Squeezebox2 (primary) / SBR (secondary) / SBC - w/SC 7.3b

I was planning on using my sb3 to actually do the music playing - just wanted the ps3 for doing some bigger controlling UI work. Would be nice to have a video server, though - I'll have to take a look at the software you mentioned for that. Thanks! -- dwilliams01 -

The handheld skin tends to work better on the PS3 - the fonts and symbols are larger, and the functionality seems better behaved as it's less JavaScript-intensive. It's not a great interface, though. If you've your PS3 wired into your hi-fi/surround system then I think a better approach is to use

Well, sounds like I'll have to give it a try, anyway. Thanks! I will have a wired 1g network to the unit but I doubt that it will be much faster. Still may beat going to the computer. I wonder if a handheld skin would work well just using the remote to scroll around instead of a keyboard, etc.

I have a PS3 that is sometimes networked in a room playing SC7. Anyway if you type in the correct webaddress for the SC it does display but for me, connecting wirelessly the skin seemed laggy and there were some update issues. Also I didnt find a really nice skin. Like you I'd like a cool lookin

I'm thinking of getting a PS3 soon (mainly for the Blu-Ray). One of the things that I noticed was the browser capabilities of the unit. Has anyone tried using the SC web UI on it? Any particular skin? Jumping up a usage level, what I'm also really looking for is something that looks as cool as
