That's what I thought and remember seeing when my SB2 was fresh out of
the box.
I have done 2 upgrades since then. The latest brought me to Slimserver
6.1.1 and I'm guessing firmware version 15. ?

disconnect from squeezenetwork and connect to your own server, then you
will see
Go to your player settings from the web ui. Then click the Menus
subsection. Ensure that you have Settings showing up on the menu. If
not, add it.

Ah, the firmware version isn't shown on SqueezeNetwork...
Press and hold the right arrow key to go back to the player setup,
the scroll down to Show Current Settings, then press right, the
firmware version will be in that list.
