@TiredLegs (or anyone else who knows): I have a question re the cat5 to connect baluns. At present the two rooms I am thinking of connecting have RJ-45 wall jacks that lead to the same ethernet switch in the basement. Would I be okay if I just disconnected the two relevant cables from the switch,
