In which menu and which version of Custom Browse ?
I'm asking since it works perfectly when browsing albums in my own
setup.
It doesn't show the album art when viewing tracks on a selected album
if thats the problem ?

It might be worth using mp3tag (http://www.mp3tag.de/en) or similar to
examine the tags on the offending mp3 file. It could be a case of
corrupted tags.

I'm surprised you get so little in your log. If the initial part of the
scan process is working, I'd expect to see pretty verbose logs with
d_scan set. Another flag that may be worth trying is d_artwork. It
might also be worth trying to reinstall slimserver (sledgehammer

OK, I have tried rescanning with the d_scan flag set in Debugging and
all I get see on the log when I click on the link is:
"Setup::rescan - initiating scan of type: [wipecache]."
After several minutes of scanning I then get the standard Widows XP
crash message saying scanner.exe has crashed.
Hi
I had exactly the same problem with SS 6.5 when using iTunes to rip
from cds.
It seems to be a problem with the way that iTunes stores album
information, and I tried everything including rescans and even
re-ripping, all to no avail.
The only solution that I found works completeley is to use
Interesting. I'm pretty sure that the gallery is built up late in the
scanning process, so a crashing scan process sounds like the
explanation. Try setting the d_scan flag (Server Settings > Debugging)
and do a rescan and then post the logs (or at least any bits that
appear relevant).

O.K. I've done the following:
Cleared cache
run "clear library and rescan everything"
Tried Internet Explorer (since my main browser is Firefox).
No change.
However, as I've noticed before, scanner.exe crashes during rescans.
Don't know the cause as no other information is provided.

My gallery browsing was working fine until recently, and now only a few
albums are appearing. I did upgrade to Firefox 2 recently, bu
Clear your web browsers cache.

cache and do a complete rescan.
