OK, played around more with this tonight:
1) Reconfirmed that the m4a files do not play.
2) Did a SS uninstall and deleted the program directory. Installed
today's SlimServer Version: 6.5.0 - 9916 - Windows XP - EN - cp1252.
The m4a files play.
3) Then did another SS uninstall and deleted the p
Ending up using iPOD and DLO dock, so at least the party worked.
I'll try the latest nightly and then call Support on Monday I guess.
Frustrating not to be able to access 80% of my library on my 4 SBs (1
SB1, 2 SBw, and 1 SB3).

This looks like it could be the Windows security s/w (AntiVirus,
Firewall, anti-spyware, IM-protection etc.) blocking the
socketwrapper.exe application.
What security s/w have you installed ?
Can you enable slim.exe and socketwrapper.exe to be trusted by your
security s/w.
