Got the macbook to operate the SB. I hadn't put the emac's ip in. Works great. All this info was in the manual, so sorry for the bother. I do think SD should sell a remote like the Sonos or Olive. I think it would be popular. Maybe I'll have to get the Nokia Thanks again -- tomjtx

@tomjtx: Did you mean the Sonos remote? I never noticed it before, but at the Olive web site there's no sign of any remote, which I find odd. Anyway, in addition to wr420's suggestions, you can also use a wifi-capable PDA or web-tablet like the Nokia770 to see your library and control the SB.

Thanks for the info. My SB is linked to my desktop e-mac, I can use it to control SB. I would like to use my new macbook to do same. It dosn't recognize my SB. I am a rather illiterate computer user so please excuse these basic questions. I am a literate and professional classical guitarist so

You can use the web interface. IMHO it offers the best view of your library. You can also use softsqueeze with the shadow play plugin. I believe someone has also made a mac widget to control SB's. -- wr420 wr420's
