Thanks for the tip Siduhe! I do use both of these, not necessary to manage my library, but in parallel... I did change the reload settings as you suggested and have then restarted twice without Slimserver starting to scan! Looks very promising so far!! Thanks again Zevs -- Zevs

Hi! I restarted my computer again and as us usal lately Slimserver immediately started scanning. Tried to look at some of the artists and albums, but the ones I did look at seemed OK from the start, so doesn't seem the library is first emptied out. Grateful for any help in stopping/controling
