Thanks for the replies
I have tried the alternate streams already - but no good.
Anyway, I think my particular problems run a bit deeper now...
After a little more exhaustive testing I have found that after a period
of, say 20 minutes, ALL of the internet radio streams exhibit the
stuttering
My guess is your problem is your internet connection or wireless
network.

Thanks Andy
I feel it must be the internet connection - have absolutely no problems
streaming FLAC or WAV across
i am also experiencing similar problems with shoutcast... not all
stations but many do seem affected... dunno what is causing it though

Any idea/thoughts on how long the fix is going to take. I know I will
really miss SHOUTcast access through the SB3, one of the main reasons I
bought it.

Andy,
Please, please get this out soon!!! I am at a loss without the
shoutcast stream service...!
Guess I'll have to listen to my own music for a while :)
Will this be a nightly build update to 6.2.2
There is a thread about XML lists here also:

Do you have a link to the new feed info?
Looks like they've completely reformatted the XML. Looks much easier
to work with, but will likely require a fairly extensive rewrite of the
Shoutcast plugin...
per http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?postid=1914078#post1914078:
Thanks for the links. We're planning to rewrite the plugin anyway,
probably build a Shoutcast - OPML thing so we can use XMLBrowser
instead of a large plugin.
