I've already gone and bought a SB3 as a replacement but was hoping to
find a way to get the SB1 repaired but it needs to be cost effective.

is there anything specifit wrong with it, or does it just not work any
more?
For instance, if it is a dodgy power connection, that could be repaired
very easily. But if there was anything wrong with the screen or the CPY,
then you are probably SOL.

It's dead, appears as if no power is going in but have tried the power
supply from my SB3, makes no difference.
I've emailed support, they suggested trying factory reset, which didn't
work. Awaiting a further reply from them.

glass all the smd's and caps to see if anything looks strange. There
