You could put a little .bat batch file on your WHS desktop like
net stop squeezesvc
net start squeezesvc
for quick access to the restart.

I think there may have been back in the dim & distant past, or I could
be hallucinating too. There certainly used to be a restart option on
the tray icon but that went away.

Your message prompted me to look in the Services in control panel. Yes,
squeezeCenter is there and I was able to re-start it from there. Sorry -
could have sworn there was an option to restart in the SqueezeCenter web
interface and spent ages looking for it.

On Windows Home Server. I just bought a new server and it had
SqueezeCenter ready installed. Previously, I had it installed on a Mac
which I was able to restart SqueezeCenter from the system Properties
dialog.

I've just tried installing some applets and have to re-start
SqueezeCenter. I thought there was an option for restarting on the
SqueezeCenter settings page but I can't find it.
How do I re-start SqueezeCenter without restarting my server?
