i have had no problems with SC Ver 7.4 Beta,just downloading nightly 7.4
26347.tgz.
my Controller updated itself this morning to 7.4 5580.
Both Transporter and Controller doing very well thanks to all the
efforts of the SD team/contributors.

I have always waited for the production version to be released, but I
must say, I just recently decided to try out the nightly betas, and 7.4
is pretty stable for me...
I know this doesn't answer your question...(and hopefully someone "in
the know" will do so)... But I thought I'd let you know w
