If you're prepared to use a trigger signal from the player to control
the power to your speakers (eg. using a relay), then you could use the
PowerSwitch plugin on the SB3 - this puts out a 3V DC signal on the
heaphone socket when the player is on.
piCorePlayer has a power on/off GPIO control faci

chance on wiring a GPIO to an enable input on the DIGI+ chip (whatever
that might be)?
Cheers!

Ralphy, I have tried that option but it does not seem to work for me
(LMS 7.9.2). Both digital outputs seem to remain active...
Is this behaviour specific for MY installation only?

There is a player setting in audio to do exactly that.

Any signal inside that I can use for reading the on/off-state? Any
enable pin that is connected to a fixed state that I can redirect to
that on/off-state? Any idea to use an additional CMOS-logic chip to
incorporate that on/off-state that I will use to switch the S/PDIF
signal?
How about using a
Hi all,
I am using a SB3 for sourcing audio to a pair of Genelecs (8331) via
S/PDIF (AES/EBU).
The Genelecs use signal sensing for powering on/off. They interpret the
presence of a bit-clock as 'power-on':
