I have a SB3, and the Duet (controller plus receiver).
The controller and sb server see the SB3, but they do not see the
receiver. I've tried power cycling the receiver, and it goes through
the lights cycle that complete its connection to the network.

Is it possible that the receiver (Duet) connected to squeezenetwork (or
whatever they are calling it today)? If you go to the web page for your
internal server, do you see the receiver listed? I believe if it is
connected to squeezenetwork, the web page will still show the player

i ended up calling tech support and the resolution was basically to
reset the controller to factory settings and also resetting the receiver
by holding the front button until it flashes red rapidly.
