I've been a bit (maybe a lot) out of touch with developments on
Slimserver software. Here is what I'm running now-
SlimServer Version: 6.5.4 - 12568 - Windows Server 2003 - EN - cp1252
Perl Version: 5.8.8 MSWin32-x86-multi-thread
MySQL Version: 5.0.22-community-nt
Everything is working
You'll need new versions of your plugins that are compatible with v7.
You can take a look at the (long) list of features and improvements

If you see something you like, upgrade. I haven't had any problems

SqueezeNetwork integration is probably the best thing about 7.0. I
listen to Pandora all the time now since it's not a hassle to switch to
SqueezeNetwork.
