I have decided to go with the sonos play 5 connected through the squeezebox touch. So I can control via app and screen and still use the great LMS / iPeng control. Thanks for all your suggestions! Windows 8.1 x64 server with LMS -> SB Touch (edo app & sbooster upgrade) -> Benchmark DAC2 HGC

Hi, I would suggest an AirPlay speaker and the AirPlay bridge plugin. Simple solution, with a minimum of hardware. Martin woodster's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=32688 View this thread:

Chromecast Audio connected to Audio Pro Addon T3 and you can move it around in the house (or anywhere). T3 runs on battery, has both AUX and can power a USB device like Chromecast. Use the Chromecast Bridge plugin and control it like a SB. SB Touch to Audio Pro T20 SB 3 to Audio Pro T3 SB

You could also use an airplay device and repurpose the Touch to a more SQ-critical mission if you don't mind controlling the player through an app. With philippe_44's airplay bridge plugin you have audio sync if you want. 4 SB 3 • Libratone Loop mk.2 • iPeng (iPhone + iPad) • Squeezebox Server

The ideal solution would have been a Radio rather than a Touch, I suspect. All in one, small size. Probably cheaper too. You might be able to sell the Touch (in great demand) for enough to get one. LMS on a dedicated server (FitPC3) Transporter (Ethernet) - main listening, Onkyo receiver,
