My Squeezebox Duet connects to a Windows Squeezecenter just fine, but does not find my Buffalo LS-CHL NAS running Slimserver 6.5.4-12, even if I enter the IP address manually.
Softsqueeze however, will connect to either the Windows Squeezecenter or Linux Slimserver with no trouble. What's different about Softsqueeze that allows it to see my Slimserver? Do I need to open some ports or run some services on the Slimserver to get the Squeezebox to see it?
