One caveat. The controller is a wireless device. With the receiver,
you have two choices - connect to your home wireless network or use the
receiver as an adhoc wireless accesspoint for the controller.
The SB3 won't do that. You must have wireless network connectivity
where you plan to use the

Yes, you can use the Controller with any SB. It connects to the server
not the Duet.
