Does anybody think the battery life of the SqueezeBox Controller is too
short?
I think it is, when using the controller intensively it only last for a
few hours...

If I use it pretty much constantly it lasts about 4-5 hours. But then
that isn't the way that I use it normally. If I am carrying it round
the house with me, queuing up albums and changing radio stations
regualarly then it lasts a day and a half.
Most of the time however I don't play with it

Make sure you have power settings set correctly, they seem to have been
reset for some people to disable the important power management.
Wireless power save was definitely unchecked for me when I first
installed my Duet.
