Another reason to not release an official SqueezePlay is that it has
many unaddressed bugs .
For example no possibility to set output device ,and as Erlands say it
can't be a high priority for a company who revenue comes ( came ) from
hardware sales to develop free software clients.
I just wanted a windows 32 bit version. Sounds too complicated for me
to achieve.

The official builds are published on the page I mentioned in previous
post: http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/?ver=7.8
If you want latest from git, you would probably have to check it out and
build it yours
