I've read that the ipod touch can control squeezebox. Currently I have
Squeezebox Classic and am thinking of the Squeezebox Controller. But
the ipod touch is a similar price and does more, so why would I buy the
Squeezebox Controller. Does the ipod give the same functionality ?

if all you're after is a wireless remote then the iPodTouch with the
iPeng native app is a much better solution, both in terms of speed and
reliability.

Controller ? Maybe they should just bundle the Receiver with an iPod

I really don't like ipods (never owned one but I can't stand the fact
that you have to use iTunes and can't just use UMS,

is the perfect remote for me. It's stable, very responsive/fast and I
