Ok I can deal with the fact that you no longer support an Apt repository. However what I cannot deal with is that there is no direct link to download a file. I do not use an X windows system on my unix box I actually use ssh to manage my box and I use wget to get the new squeezebox

A static link to the latest build or version would be nice, but http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/ works perfectly fine in browsers such as lynx, links and such. Unless you are doing (scripted) automatic downloads/updates or other advanced things, this should solve your issues. --
