Thanks for the quick reply. I fully understand not displaying song
details, but what about the channel name? An ugly URL has little if
any benefit, but the channel name is extremely useful.

Yes, song details are only updated if you are playing the station.

I just upgraded to the 12/14/7 nightly build of Squeeze Center and
tested Live365 (subscription). It works fine, except I was surprised
to see the web browser still doesn't display the channel and/or song
details unless it's currently playing. Otherwise it displays an ugly

and should be much improved. You will need a SqueezeNetwork account and
