I'm trying to wake up my PC using an other remote and its appropriate
.IR file, setting the power fonction to the power toggle button of
this remote
The original SB remote works fine of course and wakes up correctly my
PC, but not able to do it with this other.

Does the Power button as such work with the other remote, i.e. turn the
SB on or off when the server is already running?

Nope, not possible, because the .ir file you have edited is on your
server that is asleep. The only IR codes that can trigger WOL are the
one(s) hardcoded in the player firmware.
