Recently I just purchased the SB2, great devices, and works really
well, but I have one question regarding networking.
I don't have an access point, so I have connected my SB2 to my winXP
machine via an Ad-hoc network. I first created the Ad-hoc adaptor

Once you get it set up, it's probably better to just keep using a static IP.
