Hello. Are all services down today??? I used all of these apps last
night 1/8/13 5pm EST, and they worked. I have a paid subscription, so
that's not the issue. Anyone else have this problem?

Yes Xmas wonders :) and the bitrate filter has acted up in the past .
( OT I love iPhone spelling bitrate is transformed to nitrate , a
"nitrate filter" is that used in bomb making of some sort... Cue black
vans outside my window )

Just tried it again. Seems to be working fine now. Did it clear up on
its own or did you do something?
No, I didn't touch anything during the Holidays. Self-healing issue.
It's that time of the year. A Xmas wonder :-)
Thanks anyway!

If this is the afterlife for my Squeezeboxes, it's sweet. Getting
ClassicalRadio to recognize I'm a premium subscriber was a little
fiddly, but working now and it sounds great. All year I've dragged my
feet on replacing the Squeezebox in my family room with a Sonos Connect

Yet other ShoutCast streams seem to play (like ShoutCast > Most
Popular), so service is not completely broken.

Yeah, I love free stuff as much as anyone. I don't use any paid service
myself. But I also understand these services need to g

Depends which player you are using. Any currently playing stream or a
stream listed in the menus can be added to Favorites (or presets).

Can't you just add the stations you want from the app to your Favorites
from the player or web UI?

Has anyone found working URLs for the various streams of
classicalradio.com and rockradio.com?
I ask because I'd rather put them into favourites on my SB3 than use the
app.

Bravo! And until now, I didn't realize that my jazz subscription also

For the "official app" way see cjfreitag's feedback above, in the
meantime you could login in the classicalradio site -> go to hardware
players -> copy each channel's address containing your hash key and
paste the links one by one to your lms Favourites respectively.

I had the same query, so thanks for chasing down the answer. By the
way, the same outfit also does "rockradio" for which there is an app on
MSB.com. It looks like you can use the same account for all 3 services
i.e. jazz/classical/rockradio. Nice!

It's on the APP page under "Supported hardware players." There is a link
to download an app, but the link just takes you to the squeezebox app
gallery. The JazzRadio app is there, but nothing for ClassicalRadio.

I got a prompt response from their support folks. App development is "a
top priority" and should be done soon. Stay tuned.

I got an email from the folks behind JAZZRADIO announcing a new
classical service called CLASSICALRADIO.COM. If it is as good as the
jazz service it will be worthwhile, and as far as I can tell so far a
prime subscription to the jazz site also gets you the classical site.
