I patched the 8.0.0 manually to have it boot on the Zero 2 W.
And I can report that an in-situ to 8.1.0. still/despite works. No
hickups or whatsoever.
does the all-black SB sound better than the white SB?

Checked the pCP site aright after I posted and found the new updated
8.1.0 with support for the zero w 2.
Installed and it worked like a charm, but thanks for your reply!
