Sorry I did not respond to your post earlier, I had to go away for a few
days.
our post helped me a lot thanks, in the end I decided the playlists
were messed up somehow (after I had tried some of your suggetsions). I
deleted them all and remade them and all is well now.
Great piece of kit,
Do you have Repeat Song enabled? On the web interface there should be a
setting marked Repeat Song/Playlist/Off (assuming you have the current
release of Slimsever installed), set it to off.
Or press Repeat on the remote and watch for Off on the SB3 screen.

I have just bought a squeezebox 3 and am really thrilled with it but !
When I connect to my computer (as opposed to Slimserver) the squeezebox
sees my media player playlists just fine, I select one and it starts
playing - great, except that it just keeps repeating the same song and
does not 'move
If I press the repeat button so that it says 'off' the the playist stops
after playing the current sone and again does not move on to the next
song.

The next song in the playlist is valid, I take it; ie it's pointing to a
song that can be found on your drive somewhere?
Do you get the same fault when playing a whole album?
What format are your playlists?

Curious, if I select the playlist from the web interface it plays OK
(aside from duplicating some songs - it seems randomly?) but at least
it works. Only if I start the playlist from the unit does it stick to
one song. Allthe songs in the playlist are valid, I have played it many
times on my
Hmm, can't account for why it would work from the web interface but not
the player - what setting do you have for Play other Songs in Album?
Also, these playlists are showing up under Browse Music Playlists are
they, not under Albums?
