It's a very big version leap maybe things goes more smoothly if you do a totally clean install ? Just my 2c . Can be tedious to put in all settings and "Squeeze Network" and pin codes is no more you use an email instead (on mysqueezebox.com). Plugin install is very simple in new sbs just use the

I have a squeezebox v3 and am running slimserver v 6.5.1 - 10145 for windows xp. I am thinking about buying a squeezebox boom and using it in another room. Regardless of whether or not I buy the boom, should I update slimserver to the squeezebox server 7.5.2 or not? Thanks. -- drb46
