There was a change in the split-scanner release that A) stopped the plugin from getting track info B) stopped displaying titles in the 'now playing' screen.
I've just posted a fix for A on my website, but B needs fixing in SlimServer. Until then you'll be able to see the track info in the LastFM menu or web page, but not in 'now playing'.
