You can just run slim.exe (in the 'server' subdirectory) from the
command line or scheduler etc.
I have a shortcut in my startup folder or one can use a tool such as
firedaemon or cmdow.

You can use the Windows 98/ME Scheduled Tasks icon to schedule the
slim.exe application to start automatically when the computer starts.
