You must not be in the right menu. Press the Now Playing key, then
press right. Pandora was changed a bit so it doesn't force you to the
Now Playing screen anymore, to be more in line with how the rest of the
UI works.

I've had this stream on for about 20 minutes without any problems.
Try enabling the buffer fullness display from Player Settings. Mine
sits at 4%, as it does for most radio stations.

OK, I just had this happen to me on a different stream. It's a
buffering problem, the audio in the buffer slowly runs out over time
due to network problems. We need to add a re-buffering feature where
we just restart a stream when the buffer is nearly drained.

If you really do have 100s of GB's in your FileCache directory, the
first time you run a build of 6.5 with the cache cleanup code, it will
take a long time for it to clean out the cache. Just let it run. For
more detailed info you can run slim.exe --d_server from the command
line.

Softsqueeze can't benefit from the rebuffering code, it doesn't report
buffer status in the same way. I'm sure this will get fixed in a

I've also made another change: the Show Buffer Fullness display on
remote streams where the bitrate is known will now display the number
of seconds of audio in the buffer, instead of the percentage value
which wasn't very useful.

While the Roku is not supported of course, we certainly don't want to

SC will stream silence when you connect a player, so it should handle it
fine (unless it's as buggy as you say...). I'm not sure if changing the

Oh OK, just have the server support Range requests, that's trivial. I
assume this is only an issue if you try to seek in a file? This
solution won't handle non-mp3/aac/alac files though, as there is no
transcoding built in to the download feature.

Oops I think that was just a bug in the response header causing it to

What's the sample rate? 24/44.1 or 48 shouldn't have a bitrate that
high. Normal 24/96 files only have a bitrate of around 2300-2500k.
88.2k and 96k files on Receiver are also downsampled so that may also
be what you are experiencing.

We don't support 5.1 audio for anything other than AC3 or DTS
pass-through. In order for this stream to work we'd have to transcode
the WMA stream into AC3 within the player firmware.

Pretty sure WMA seeking is disabled in the UI in 7.2. WMA is such a
crappy format that seeking is actually a lot more difficult that you
would think. I tried to implement it once but had to give up. Hope to
be able to do it at some point though.

I checked the code and the source ports used for DNS queries is set to 0
which means the OS will randomly choose a port. I'm not sure this is a

Ogg is a bit finicky, for example you can't play files that were encoded
with a pre-1.0 encoder, or files that contain very large comments.
Other than that, you should be fine.
