I think it'd be great if the system-tray icon displayed the menu even if
you left-clicked it. Too often, when I right-click on it I get the tray
menu and the oOo menu. Then I have to choose something from the tray
menu in order to get rid of it before or after I make my oOo

I've just installed Debian amd64 on my pc, and i can't find a 64 bits
port of openoffice. I know that i can do it with a 32 bit chroot, but i
think that it is quite inneficient. I'm now downloading sources to try
to compile openoffice under 64 bits architecture.

Not really. It offends most purists, including myself. But it's not
Requests for enhancements can be lodged using the www.openoffice.org.
You will need to create a user id and password (if you don't already
have one), then you can create the request. Number of votes will
determine if/when the enhancement is developed...
