Hi, I'm so glad there's an alternative to MSOffice which doesn't crash eveyr 5 minutes! However, I think OOo writer really does need to be able to reference headings without having to insert set references to the headings manaully before making cross-references. I found a page saying that this was going to be implemented in v2, but i can't find it. So I guess what I'd really like to know is whether ther are any plans for puitting this in future releases? Because, other than that, OOo is such a better piece of software than Office, especially as I can get a portable version to carry on my USB stick! Thank you so much for giving me an alternative.
