I've followed the procedure of trying google search and your forums but didnt
find anything..

The attached file was written in MS Office (Excell) and forwarded to my
computer. It does not want to open with Openoffice.
Could you please look at this and advice me as I am using Openoffice on my
Laptop and need to read all formats in MSOffice with Openoffice.

Your file didn't come through. Some files do, most don't.
I suspect that your Excel file is in the new Excel 2007 format, is that
right? In that case OpenOffice.org can not read it, at least not yet.
Open the file with Excel 2007 and save a copy of it using another format,
such as the old XLS
