Hello,

I was wondering if there are any plans for an alternative to Microsoft
OneNote to be incorporated into the OpenOffice suite. I know there are other
clip book organizer type applications available from other sources, but I am
much more concerned with the pen based input of Windows Tablet PC Edition
and note taking features that OneNote has. The use of OneNote and the Tablet
PC inking feature are pretty much the only thing keeping me from moving from
the Windows platform to Linux (or OS X). I have found OneNote indispensable
in graduate school and in my daily work. Pen based input and an open
document format similar to the OneNote document would enable Linux and
OpenOffice to be used in Tablet PC type devices. Perhaps an open note taking
format could be scalable so that it could be used as an open standard for
pen based Linux PDA as well (i.e. the Zaurus, Qtopia, and Familiar
environments).

Thank you in advance.
