When I visit a website and then copy the URL in a cell in Calc, sometimes
the link is active (= clicking opens the URL), sometimes not!
Any clue?

I would like to know whether Links and Macros that were already created in MS
Excel 2000/2003 Spreadsheet can be used in OpenOffice.org 2.3 Calc when saved
in OpenDocument Spreadsheet(.ods) format using Calc ? Or I have to create Links
and Macros again in OpenOffice 2.3 Calc.

Wouldn't it be nice if an Index / TOC in a Document would have links to the
corresponding headings in the text? That would make navigation in large
documents much easier. As the Index is created using the headings this
shouldn't be too hard to implement.
