Since this is my first email to this list a few words about myself
My name is Michele Zarri, an Italian working in the UK for a German company
with an Austrian boss who on turn reports to an American, so yes, my work
life is complicated enough.

Internally we call it a master page. I understand the confusion.
"Slide master" sounds good to me but then we also need "Notes master"
and "Handout master". Then we have "Slide" and "Notes page".
Does that sound consistent?
