If you want multiple bridges, then don't add eth0 to the bridge;

Dear all
I apologize for duplicate messages.
I am using recent version of mininet and openvswitch. However, I wondering if I
can disable the kernel support for all the switches in my mininet topology. I
mean by kernel support is the forwarding of the flows through the fast-path
"kernel-path".
I upgraded OVS from 2.4.0 to 2.5.0 following the FAQ, but ended up with this
confusing state. Is it a bug or installation issue?
Would appreciate any help.

Hi, I have a question about deploying openvswitch with DPDK
As we know, normal network package will first go through openvswitch.ko to find
a flow table entry in the kernel, if not found, then the package will go to
user mode to look for the flow table entry.
But If we use DPDK, the package a

Find the OpenFlow port number of eth0 (Let’s say that’s 5)
Add a flow similar to ovs-ofctl add-flow bridge-name ,actions=output:5
You can also specify dl_type, dl_dst or nw_proto to be more specific
You could also drop any traffic coming in on eth1

Hi!
i want to know how is it possible for a VM to be connected to a specific
port in a L2 switch (if we have a VM and two interfaces eth0 and eth1 in
the OvS how to tell the VM to send frames via eth0 and not via eth1)
