I just did an install on Fedora 21 and there is a problem with the install
directions on redmine. I can't seem to make an account (it says my email is
already registered and when I try to recover a lost password I get no such
users). The issue is that python-zmq needs to be installed for the test t
Just reinstall it. No hassle :)

Well, I can tell you that I deleted the gnuradio build directory and then
executed ./pybombs update to see if it would start the build process. It
did not. As of now I'm not really sure what ./pybombs update does. The wiki
leads me to believe it's supposed to do the pull and build process, link

Thanks Martin,
I dug out the S&C paper and think I'm clear on that, thanks.
I have a currently uncoded system with superimposed QPSKs from multiple sources
so it's pretty sensitive! its fine using the Octoclock, though giving 0 BER

Thanks Martin, but I'm still unsure of this process.
1) I tried using ./pybombs update, but it doesn't look like it initiated a
build process on anything. Did you mean to imply it would do that, or just
the git pull process for gnuradio and uhd?
2) There is no build directory in uhd, like there w
Sometimes it's safer to clear the build dir, usually it's OK to leave
in. If you have any cmake variables set, you'll need to reset them if
you clear the dir.
UHD is updated the same way. In all cases, it depends where you
installed your stuff.
pybombs can do all this for you, by the way: ./pybom
Hi all,
I am new to all of this, so I'm looking for some guidance. I recently setup
UHD and GNURadio using PyBOMBS on Ubuntu 14.04. I now want to do a git pull
and update my stuff. I'm not sure what commands to execute after I do the
git pull for each.
For example, I found two different recommend

"Right" is whatever makes your life easy. You could only ever install
out-of-tree modules into ~/.gnuradio. You could only ever use modules
available in binary packages... Why not try pybombs instead? If you're
careful about how you set up your sources, you can probably install
everything from bina
I've solved this and wanted to share my solutions, as well as improvements (to
me, anyways) to GR's off-line plotting tools (gr_spectrogram_plot). My overall
goal here is to be able to do some analysis on wideband (25MSPS) data using GR
since MATLAB isn't really efficient for that.

Hi Guys,
I want to set 'Marker' to 'Dot Large' by default, can I set this in the flow
graph somehow?
Thanks!!

Hey there! I'm gonna explain a bit of what i'm doing. I'm trying to conect
a laptop with a ground control station software to an uavdevboard (UDB4). I
want to get data stream through gnuradio, i want to make it serial because
of previous work. I can set up the baudrate of transmision at my software

Dear all,
I am suffering from issues related to residual CFO error manifesting itself as
a slight rotation over time. This can be partially corrected in the FD using
tracking pilots which I have implemented but there is still a slight problem
which may be caused by ICI.
In the OFDM example cod

Seriously Can't you read
It says you didn't specify a prefix and it's defaulting to /usr/local,
how exactly is that not clear ?

Hello,
There is an issue for the installation of gqrx. When "qmake .." it says:
*Project MESSAGE: No prefix given. Using /usr/local*
why?

You installed GR 3.7.
The module you're trying to build is written for GR 3.6.

Hello,
After installing gnuradio by running this command
wget http://www.sbrac.org/files/build-gnuradio && chmod a+x
./build-gnuradio && ./build-gnuradio
on ubuntu 14.04, I want to install 'gr-chancoding' but it couldn't find the
'gnuradio-core'. I also couldn't find 'gnuradio-core.pc.' in
