resolution for the same length FFT if you decimate after the BPF. It would
probably be easier to see what is going on. Is there a reason you are
significantly oversampled?

If you want to see this, a QAM or BPSK constellation plot would be a better

It sounds like something specific to your machine because my laptop
runs that flowgraph without issue. Some more guesses:
Make a simple flowgraph to play a 1kHz tone through the speaker. Can
you hear the tone?
Make a simple flowgraph to feed the microphone into an FFT and a
