Hii all,
I purchased Mircotune's 4937-DI5 Tuner from Ettus LLC in December last
year.. I got the 3X7901 one. How different is it from 3X8899? I have the
datasheet of 3X8899.
If 7901 has a different set of specs from 8899 then someone pls provide me
it's datasheet.
Thanking you in anticipation..
Hello there..
I wanted to have the schematic and possibly, the FPGA implementation code
of the DDC circuit employed in USRP. I am not a core expert in analyzing all
of it, just need to understand the basic implementation of DDC for dynamic
extraction of baseband in channels up to 6MHz in bandwid
ok.. so i guess it is the passband sampling principle used here..
Do you still supply the MICROTUNE MT4937 module or some other ones?

If IF is at 44MHz, is it further downconverted(to around 5-15MHz) before
being fed to the ADC? I just want to know this out of curiosity. Pls let me
know.

I ordered Tvrx module and expect it to arrive at my place soon. Hope it will
have a manual or imp guidelines on usage. Anyhow, I have a few basic
questions :
1) What is range of the IF I can set its output to?
2) Can I use it for HDTV reception?
3) What is the max voltage swing in the output? Is
I have been goin through low-cost Spartan-3 FPGA starter kits and I have
found similarity between the one sold by Xilinx through Avnet at $149 and
the one sold by Digilent at $99. Why is difference in the cost??

Hi,
I wanted to now about the chip used in USRP for USB Interface. And also I
would want to know about the USB Controller chips that used to interface
with hi-speed USB at data rates of 8MBps and above.
Thnx in advance.

Most high-end cable tuner chips are in QFN packs. I am in search of a
manually solderable tuner IC which can provide good IMRR over 50-400 MHZ
range for my SDR project. I got hold of TUA6020 from Infineon Tech and
TDA65xx Philips Tuners in TSSOP packs. However, they seem to have poor IMRR.

Hello everyone,
I am planning to implement a small software-defined radio with a bandwidth
of say 50-300 MHz at first. The system should be able to receive AM, FM, PM
signals over the mentioned RF spectrum with upto 10MHZ baseband information.
This would require an IF of at least around 11-12MHz.
