Another strange observation is that all .py files in various examples
folders have exe extensions,( e.g. dial_tone.py.exe). Is there an
abnormality?

icons. They are marked program and when i try open them with click, it
tires to open with archive manager and fails to open.

I just built and installed gnuradio-3.6.4 from tarball on my HP nx6115
running Ubuntu 13.04.
only one test failed during make test. i.e, qa_pdu.
I could confirm it by running ctest -E qa_pdu and ctest -R qa_pdu.
Will it affect use of gnuradio ?

In Discuss-gnuradio-digest messages,
topics related to same thread are appearing
in multiple places and not together.
They will be easier to read ( long messages),
if topics related to same thread appear together.

Yast shows Numeric as installed. both gnumeric and python-numeric are
installed.
