As an interim to really solving the problem. I hacked the gains on the carrier and stereo DSBSC signal. My favorite test is usrp_wfm_rcv -f Frequency_of_STEREO_FM_STATION and then usrp_wfm_rcv_pll -f Frequency_of_STEREO_FM_STATION I will never be able to go back as the stereo separation
