Hi Shreeram: There was an interesting talk on AI and “cognitive radio” at the last GRCON in Huntsville, Alabama in September 2019. Here’s the title and link: "Man or Machine?: Developing a "Turing Test" for Radio Intelligence” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kJ27aec_dZs&list=PLbBQHMnVMR41tOomyB

Thanks a lot Marcus. I think this should get me started. Also, my thesis is independent of my contribution here. I mentioned that because that's how I found my passion for this. Thanks, Shreeram On Wed, 5 Aug, 2020, 9:10 PM Marcus Müller, wrote: > Also: > > On 05/08/2020 17.37, Marcus Müller

Well, the first step in spectrum sensing is spectral estimation, see gr-specest: PRs for further / improved algorithms welcome. But honestly, I don't think "I'm doing a thesis centered around someone else's project" is the best for *your* thesis; as soon as you know specifically what you need

Hey! Thanks for the reply. I was specifically looking at spectrum sensing and wanted to know if is any way I could contribute to that. I'm doing my thesis project on that and was interested to see if I could contribute to an implementation of the same. Thanks, Shreeram On Wed, 5 Aug, 2020, 3:45

Hi Shreeram, There's certainly a lot of things that would be categorized as cognitive radio. Take, for example, entries that Felix Wunsch of CEL fame did for DYSPAN spectrum challenges [1]. However, before starting to look for arbitrary examples: Really define what your "cognitive radio" n

Hey! I'm Shreeram, an electronics and communications major. I'm currently conducting my research on cognitive radios and was wondering if GNU has an implementation of the same. I'd be extremely interested to contribute to the same. Thanks, Shreeram
