Trust me, not much around the boat, but it "had" helped us in the past...
Just one client using it can refer another that buys hundreds of domains ;o)
You just never know ;o)

Hello Charles,
Could you/OpenSRS really clarify what happened in this case? Who
goofed up? Where did the process fail?
Do we need to double check an expired domain even after the RWI says
it is renewed? I know that it is always a good idea, etc, etc but do
we rely on the
Be careful or they will remove you from the list. Although I send e-mails in
the utmost humor but yet serious, it seems too many people take them as I am
a complete jerk and that is not the case at all... But, I too get aggravated
just the same and we are in the process of removing that aggravation
Sounds like a make work project. ICANN's Transfer Task Force this and

I'm sorry but I don't see how any serious reseller
could consider godaddy as a viable alternative for OpenSRS or any other
registrar. At most you would be a glorified affiliate, not a
reseller. And the retail rates they charge makes it impossible for you to
earn enough to make it worth you
A couple of you have asked me over the last few days where we are at on the
transfers issue...some of this is official, some of it isn't, all of it
should help you understand what the lay of the transfers land looks like...
At the end of November, ICANN's Transfer Task Force forwarded 29

Thatvis interesting. If the browser only support 40bit, will the
connection be refused?
Michael - you're contribution to this list over the past three years has
consistently been less than productive for all participants. While I respect
your right to participate, stay, leave etc., I do not appreciate the
continuous implications of your messages. In the future, please stick to

The issues are very simple. Opensrs has chosen to bury referrals
rather than fairly advertise them on their websites. Thats because
they are in direct competition with their resellers. I want opensrs to
have at least a one inch square hot button called 100% Resellers List
on all their sites.
If you have ns1.yourdomain.com setup via
http://manage.opensrs.net, all you'll need to do is update the IP
address there
Any domain of the same registry using that nameserver will update,
the rest will update via DNS propogation
You should only need to change it in one spot (if all you're

We'll take a look at the differences, and respond back to the list.

In this case it is entirely a matter of perception. "Those who are listed"
apparently have one perception of the value of being listed and "Those who
are not listed" have a different perception of the value of being listed.
At least a different publicly stated perception of the value of being

You're right, Eric. It really isn't the reseller list, it's the
relationship between Tucows and the small reseller. The real issue is the
