VMWare fusion beta 3 is out. Much better performace than beta 2. Very
nice for when you need to manage some windows boxes or test junk in
windoze from your intel mac.

You can also use the P2V app to take a physical machine and convert
it into a VMWare image... someday I'll do this with my work laptop...

The converters take some time for it to build the image but it's slick. Well
worth the effort.

yeah a buddy of mine did that when switching from pc to mac he just
imaged his dell and offloaded it to an external drive. If he ever is
missing anything he just fires up the old box. Pretty slick. I have a
nice xp pro install that is around 1 gig that i use for testing.

I just learned about this idea myself recently (though I've been a fan of
