Thanks everyone for your input, and Charlie for the resource - actually I had looked there before I started this thread.
It looks like we may be going in the direction of a shopping cart service, probably Volusion (http://www.volusion.com) for these reasons: * time constraints - can get it up quicker, and still have the option for a native shopping cart later. * client's POS can do an inventory export to Volusion * security issues - not sure I want the liability for credit card data on my server. If anyone has any experience with Volusion or other shopping cart services that they would like to share, I'm all ears. Thanks again, Stephen M.
