I was able to do it with Exchange 2000 until my company upgraded to Exchange 2007. The from attribute is as stated in CF7 LiveDocs: "This attribute does not have to be a valid Internet address; it can be any text string." http://livedocs.adobe.com/coldfusion/7/htmldocs/wwhelp/wwhimpl/common/html/

I have encountered a problem with sending email using a Microsoft Exchange 2007. CFMail will not work unless you have a valid email address in the "from" attribute. Is there anyway around this? Or is this a new feature with Exchange 2007? Thanks everyone! Bettina Scurlock ---
