Removal from the shell? Not sure how to go about that using pfsense (since pfsense is a hacked freebsd system), but you may want to disable snort and then remove it via the webgui. Not sure what the bpf state is (can't find any documents off-hand about it), but I'll inquire on the freebsd-ne

I seem to have a memory issue with my pfsense install. It is strange, just happened out of the blue, and it does not seem to clear up even after a reboot. The memory usage was never more than 17% continuously for the first 14 days of use. The only extra package installed was the miniupd which ha
