I got my workplace to switch from subversion to git about a year ago. Most
developers (everyone but me actually :-) work under Windows. We've found
GitExtensions to be more than sufficient as a GUI under Windows. A few
people have used tortoise git as well. The fact that GitExtensions is run
extern
I wanted that in the firstplace but Visual Studio's Git integration is not
as good as the integration of SVN in Visual Studio.
This project is running but I'd love to hear some different insights for my
next projects...
